It’s a busy evening in the Emergency Department. You’ve just finished suturing a laceration when the charge nurse calls out to you.
“Doctor, EMS just radioed in. We have a 46-year-old male, conscious but lightheaded, with rapid palpitations. Vitals are borderline. ETA five minutes.”
You nod. “Alright, let’s get him into Resuscitation Bay 2. I’ll be right there.”
